Tokunbo Afikuyomi Resourfaces At Ogun First Lady’sOld School Party

Known for his good taste, Tokunbo Afikuyomi is no nerd when it comes to having good fun.

Vintage wines, Champagne and all the good pecks of life you name it and Afikuyomi has had it.

However, he has been underground for a long while, hibernating and avoiding unnecessary attention.

Infact, it is known among his cronies that the only time he is a topic of discussion is when there is something to celebrate in his immediate family.

He was recently dragged out of his hibernating hole by the First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs. Olufunsho Amosun, as she celebrated her 50th birthday party.

Afikuyomi brought back memories of days when he used to play on a very high pedestal, as he had his fun.

Afikuyomi alongside the celebrant and publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu danced the night away, as Olamide sang several of his hit song.

There was a time when Uzoma Dozie could easily be described as a man about town.

A Managing Director of a notable financial institution, his technological approach to banking made him the cynosure of all eyes.

Dozie worked hard and partied harder, occasionally mingling with Hip hop stars such as D’banj, and even American sensation, Amber Rose.

But those days are now vague memories, as the fair-complexion man thinned out with the demise of his financial institution.

Fahim Saleh’s Ingenuity

Fahim Saleh is proving to be an ingenious businessman.

Known as the co-founder and co-Chief Executive Officer of Gokada, he battled with a lot of emotion when the Lagos State government practically shut down his business.

Explaining that a restriction on motorcycles would mean taking the jobs of a lot of people struggling to care for their family, his explanation barely made any difference.

Fahim’s ace was recently unveiled when he launched the logistic and delivery arm of his business in a bid to shore up lost revenues arising from the restriction of motorcycles in Lagos State.

‘Chop’ Gokada’s food delivery service waiting to be unveiled has now been speedily pushed out albeit in a test mode. ‘Chop’ doubles as the channel for an on-demand and batched delivery system for Fahim’s e-Commerce partners.

Dapo Abiodun’s Nightmare Returns

Waking up to a nightmare again and again can be troubling.

This appears to be what is happening to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.

Prior to being the first citizen of Ogun State, Abiodun was plagued by a major obstacle, Ibikunle Amosun’s political structure.

The setup by Amosun was aimed at bringing in Adekunle Akinlade as his successor. Though Amosun failed, he succeeded in preventing Abiodun from strutting into office.

Since the election and Abiodun’s emergence as Governor, Amosun has taken advantage of his federal might and has become stronger.

His recent emergence into the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been described as a fresh nightmare for Abiodun who is still grappling with controlling his state.
