Senator Bukola Saraki
The saying that “there is a thin line between love and hate” is not a new one.
One woman who knows the true meaning of this saying remains Senator Gbemi Saraki.
For years, Gbemi and her elder brother Bukola have been at loggerheads. Not even their father could resolve the crisis which was born out of their individual political ambition.
In the heat of their faceoff, their father Olusola Saraki passed on and many thought that the situation would unite the siblings.
However, it was for just a while, as the moment their dead was buried the duo returned to their old ways.
Speculations that Gbemi is still seeking to pay her brother back in his own coin have been abound, as the question of where her loyalty stands persist.
Bukola is currently being trialed before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on asset declaration. This for some people is payback for Gbemi.
