Senator Remi Tinubu
A lot of people hold the view that Senator Remi Tinubu has not been too vibrant in the Senate.
For them, the Senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District who is also the wife of former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, is one of the least vocal senators, as she hardly speaks on matters of sensitive nature.
Senator Tinubu, who is set to face a Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges over recent statements credited to her in a recent interview has the opportunity to prove to those who are yet to be convinced about her capability not just as an intelligent politician, but as an individual.
Senator Tinubu, in an interview she granted to celebrate her third year in the Senate, had accused of below par performance and also failing to address some pressing National issues.
Aggrieved by her remarks, Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba presented the situation on the floor of the Senate on Thursday, June 26 plenary session, saying it was unkind of her to have said such a thing on the pages of newspaper.
