A dispute between Copy Right Society of Nigeria (COSON) and Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON) is about to boil over.
Findings by www.theoctopusnews.com, has it that the dispute is tied to issues of royalty collected by the Tony Okoroji-led COSON, but yet to be remit to BON.
As such, effective Monday, December 9, song of artistes who are members of COSON would not be played on terrestrial television.
Some of the artistes who have been banned include names such as 2Face Idibia, D’ Banj, Inyanya, Olamide, Dr Sid, Sammie Okposo, Banky W, WizKid, Olu Maintain, 9ice, Sunny Neji and Flavour. Others are Chidinma, Rugged Man, Keffee, Midnite Crew, Eldee De Don, MI, Azeezat, Jazzman Olofin, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz and Kcee.
Some up and coming artistes are also included in the list.
