Why I Joined Buhari Campaign Organisation-Obasanjo’s Son Explains
Days back, Olujonwo Obasanjo, son of erstwhile President of Nigeria shocked a lot of people when pictures confirmed that he had actually joined the President Buhari campaign organization.
Festus Keyamo shared the photo above on his twitter handle with the caption
”Obasanjo Joins Buhari’s Campaign Team: From Left – Alhaji Nasiru Danu (The Dan Amarna of Dutse & Director of Logistics, PMB Campaign Organisation), Olujonwo Obansanjo (son of OBJ) and my humble self as we officially received OBJ’s son at d PMB Campaign Headquarters today in Abuja
The move was in total contradiction of his father’s decision to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s opposition and the People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Since then, a lot of people have been asking what could have led to his action with little or no explanation.
However, there are those who insist that Olujonwo might have gone against his father’s decision simply to spite him.
Olujonwo and the erstwhile President are not the picture of the ideal father and son figure which a lot of people would love to paint.
