An unpalatable incident, which happened to singer Seyi Shay at the 2017 All African Music Awards (AFRIMA), has seen the singer being categorised with some of the world’s biggest stars.
While performing on the stage of AFRIMA, on Sunday, November 12, Seyi Shay fell, but professionally stood up and continued her performance.
With the incident, she joined a list of musicians who have had the ill fortune of falling on stage while performing.
Stars who have fallen on stage while performing include Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Madona, Katy Perry, Dave Grohl and Harry Styles. Others are Joe Jonas, Pink, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Lil Wayne, Rihana, The Game, Christina Aguilera, Drake, Taylor Swift and Ryan Adams, Method Man, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown to mention a few.
With this short list of artistes who have fallen on stage while performing looking star-studded, it seems you have to fall before moving to the elite league of music artistes.
