Singer, Obiwon, recently revealed the kind of influence legendary gospel musician Ron Kenoly had on him years back.
Speaking at the unveiling of a music concert which held recently, Obiwon, who has settled down to the gospel genre of music said he grew up listening to the music of Ron Kenoly.
In the singer’s words, “it is amazing to be sitting by a legendary musician as Ron Kenoly. Imagine growing up listening to his music and now sitting with him on the same table. It is an amazing feeling.”
Obiwon described his ability to go from listening to Ron Kenoly sing, watching him on Television to performing with him on the same stage as an honour.
