The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu has told the commission’s staff to ensure credibility in the Ondo governorship election.
He also urged them to resist temptation from politicians, adding any action that could dent the image of the electoral umpire should not be tolerated.
According to Professor Yakubu, Nigerians are expecting more from the commission, as he urged INEC officials to consolidate on their achievement by making sure every single vote counts.
Professor Yakubu stated this a day to the gubernatorial election.
