Former Kennis Music artiste, Minjin, has revealed how he has progressed from a whining artiste to where he is today.
According to the singer, being signed to Kennis Music years back was like being in a school, as he was thought a lot of things by Kenny Ogungbe. “A label owner has the opportunity to put his money anywhere and if he decides to put it in your career he is just investing in you and believing in you. The least you can do is to appreciate it because whoever can put one million into your career will invest 10 million if he has it. So, it’s your responsibility to sit down and make sure that he makes his money back. A person who is investing in you and is getting his money back is happy to spend more,” Minjin told The Octopus News in an exclusive interview.

Speaking further, the artiste advised his colleagues to be more concerned about how their music will be popular. In his words, “A label won’t buy a house for you and write your name in the documents, they will only rent one for you. If you want to complain, complain about your management, your promotion, complain about how your music is going to get there,” he said.
