Jide Omokore’s Crisis Worsens

Bounced Back

There is no end in sight to the problems of oil mogul Jide Omokore.

If at any point in time the boss of Cedar Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Limited had thought that his problems were over, it must have been a dream, a bad one at that.

A major player in the oil swap deals that former minister of Petroleum, Diezani K. Alison-Madueke, was implicated in, it has been one day, one trouble for Omokore since his first invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

However, Omokore got a breather when the EFCC cut him some slack  giving him an opportunity to deal with his bad loan problems with the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

A deal in the works, his boys took to town to sing his praise, but rather than solve his problems, they complicated it.

Months after the supposed larger than life image of the businessman was painted by his boys, his debtors are back in form of AMCON, taking over his most prized asset, Cedar Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Limited.
