Today, actress Omotola Jolade is so popular that the moment you mention her name to the average Nigerian and to some extent African, the next thing you will hear is” oh the actress”.
But it wasn’t always like that for her, as very few people really know that the sultry thespian was abused when she was a young girl.
A source close to www.theoctopusnews.com revealed to us that the actress who is the only daughter of her parent was indeed abused at a very young age.
The source, recounted how young Omotola used to accompany her dad who was then the manager for Lagos Country Club Ikeja, Lagos State to club. While Omotola’s father was a gentleman, his wife was a very strict business woman from Abeokuta, Ogun State who did not tolerate her budding wayward lifestyle.
Our source revealed that Omotola was a troublesome child who was over pampered and got a little spoilt so her mum had to salvage the situation.

Her mother did a lot of things to her that a lot of people wouldn’t think of doing to their child. Things that were terrifying were what Omotola went through while growing up, we were informed.
