Popular Nigerian musician, Yinka Rythmz, has revealed how he has chosen to keep his father’s legacy alive in the music industry, saying he cannot settle down for the less.

In an exclusive interaction with The Octopus News, Rythmz, the son of Alhaji Rasheed Adio, popular as second Barrister said his soon to be released album titled ‘More Than Somebody,’ is a unique one, assuring how that the epic will make waves globally.

While speaking on why this album is a big deal as compared to others earlier released, he said that there are several unanswered questions about him that he hopes to answer with this project.

“I want to carry my fans along with me on a journey. I want them all to experience how my songs are produced and directed. What motivates me, my history, incorporate my father’s legacy, my personal lifestyle, and the things I go through on a day to day basis.

“This project means so much to me, 98 percent of my albums are produced here in the United States. But now I am able to use legends and evergreen artistes that are back home in Nigeria. I am talking about people that have a direct connection with my background and my late father. For this project, I had the privilege of working with great minds that have been in the entertainment industry, people that have paved the way for me.

“I want to merge the past with the future, and this project has also given me a chance to experience the rich culture of this industry.”

Further, Yinka Rythmz said: “This project is to showcase the life in my music showing that no matter who you are, and regardless of your culture, gender, ethnic background, religion or race, we all merge and we all have something that intertwines us all together.”
