Friends of Abiodun Femi Lekuti popular as “Danku Baba Imole” in the social scene are currently anticipating the release of his burial arrangement.
News of the socialite’s death came in late last week amidst shock from his friends.
Known for his deep pocket, late Lekuti was a delight to party freaks in his good old days, as musicians including Fuji Czar, K1 admired his free spending spirit. So much in love was K1 with the late Lekuti that he made a special song for him.
All this was before he fell on hard times and subsequently bowed to the angel of death at the Teju Memorial Hospital, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
He was known to have battled stroke in his dying days but he finally fell to cardiac arrest as he was rushed to the hospital where he passed on.
Late Lekuti, was husband to Yemisi and father to three daughters, the eldest being Imole, the source of his alias.
