Skye Bank Plc was embarrassingly floored in one of its ongoing court cases.
The case between Skye Bank Plc and Centrespread Advertising had been on for a while with the financial institution seeking the court to order the later to pay the sum of N525million as outstanding indebtedness to the bank.
However, the financial institution received a rude shock when the Lagos High Court with Hon. Justice A. M. Lawal presiding threw out the application.
Basis for the court’s action was a lack of admissible evidence by Skye Bank Plc.
Recall that Centrespread challenged Skye Bank’s claim of its continued indebtedness in a motion for interlocutory injunction in suit No: LD/2362GCMW/16. With this sorted, the main case is set for hearing.
