Former Presidential aide, Kingsley Kuku is at the moment running helter skelter as he prepare to answer charges of corrupt enrichment brought against him by EFCC. Contrary to earlier statement credited to him that he is ready for the anti graft agency, insider revealed he is no longer at ease as he continue to hibernate in UK.

 

Mounting allegation of corruption and protests about how he handled the multi billion naira amnesty funds as Presidential adviser on Niger Delta Affairs is said to be his undoing.

Kuku’s date with the EFCC is pegged as Tuesday, July 28 2015. Sources divulged the allegations against Kuku centres majorly around corrupt enrichment and fund diversion. His accusers are largely supposed beneficiaries of the programme. Added information revealed the agency is also looking into damning accusation the amnesty fund was part of source fund for capital intensive business, Air Peace – the aviation company that has Allen Onyema a very good friend of Kuku as front, with the former presidential adviser listed as silent partner.

Additional information revealed Kuku on his part is currently reaching out to powerful friends of promoters of present administration to provide a soft landing with EFCC. Kuku was able to survive calls for his probe during the Jonathan regime despite concerns over his alleged spending based on great rapport he had with the powers that be.

As at the time Jonathan held sway the reins of power the Presidency is said to be concerned about growing tales of the flamboyant lifestyles of Mr Kingsley Kuku. He was alleged to be pumping Amnesty money into private business which resulted in the birth of an airline, Air Peace using bossom friend, Allen Onyema as front.

There was a time he was also said to have staged a flamboyant beach house party in Lagos,
described as very guarded with female guests’ enjoyed a take home package of N500,000 each for ‘appearance’. Report has it that mobile phones and other electronic gadgets’ were forbidden to safeguard embarrassing leaks
