Acts of Howie T and Dipo Abdul’s Baseline Music have continued their impressive run of 2014.
Following Aramide’s signing to Baseline Music last September, the Afro Soul songstress has started the year on a high note with the release of two singles, Iwo Nikan and Odun Tuntun.
Produced by Laitan Dada, Iwo Nikan is a love song filled with expressions of affection from the heart, while Odun Tuntun, produced by Mr. Chidoo, is a supplication for peace, provision and favor in the New Year.
Popular for her powerful, soft, and lyrical message, the two new singles portray Aramide as ready for a resourceful and a productive year.
Speaking in a chat with www.theoctopusnews.com, the singer said, “There is a lot planned for this year, and I am really excited about what Baseline Music and my team has on ground for the coming months; I have been working and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have designed.”
Discovering and nurturing her unique talents of writing and singing from a tender age, she has released remarkable singles like Feeling This Feeling with strong lyrics of love and friendship, as well as I Don’t Mind, an up-tempo piano-laced jazz rendition that tells off the haters of her relationship. Aramide has also released It’s Over, a more sober Afro Soul ballad.
Baseline Music, a label that prides itself in discovering and nurturing talents, is also home to Saeon, Skales and Mr. Chidoo.
