Jada Pollock, the mother of Wizkid’s third child and his American manager has explained why she dumped him.

According to Pollock, domestic violence is the main reasons she decided to end their relationship.

Pollock made the allegations on Wednesday, July 17. She wrote:

“From today, Ayo and I will no longer work together. I have been in an abusive relationship with him for years. Covering up for him time and time again and I am tired.

“Wiz continuously puts his hands on me, leaves me with bruises that I cover up from the world, including my friends and family,” Ms Pollock said.

“It often feels like we are at war in the same house. I have done all I can to keep this all together but from today, I let go.

“You can support someone as much as you can but at some point, you have to value yourself. I can’t raise my son in this kind of unhealthy environment.”

Wizkid’s relationship with Pollock as his manager started during a tour of America and eventually saw them starting a relationship, before the birth of their child, Zion.

 

Jada praised Wizkid in May for his commitment to their son, Zion, describing Wizkid as an incredible dad. She has also stood by him during onslaughts by his other Babymama.

The announcement of their breakup is a big shock to slot of people in the music industry.

Sola Allyson has revealed that she is not likely to sing in English language. The artiste, who sings predominantly in Yoruba language is unapologetic about it.

 

Answering questions regarding her career recently, the ‘Eji Owuro’ singer said that she is not pressured to do anything outside what she wants, adding that she is not likely to sing in English, but acknowledging the possibility of finding English words in her lyrics.

“I sing predominantly in Yoruba, and my music doesn’t have any religious undertone. I am in the mainstream industry, but I don’t feel any pressure to do anything. I sing in Yoruba unapologetically. I don’t want to sing in English. If you find English words in my lyrics, it is just to let fans know that I am also educated.”

DJ Humility has laid claim to starting collaborations between DJs and music artiste.

The chubby and dark-complexion disc jockey stated this while speaking on the importance of such collaborations.

“I am one of the few DJs that started the trend, but today, it’s a big thing and a good thing.

“Collaborations with other artistes make the DJs more relevant, and of course the artiste who doesn’t have a good song to push, collaborating with a DJ makes it great.”

Flytime Music Festival: Burna Boy Joins List Of Stars

Self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’, Burna Boy, has joined the list of stars billed to perform in the Flytime Music Festival.

The festival, which is a celebration of the promotion outfit’s 15th anniversary already has hip-hop legend Mase, Koffee, BoyzIIMen, Hot Girl Megan thee Stallion, ShowDemCamp, DRB Las Gidi, and Tiwa Savage.

Burna Boy, however, joins the list of artistes to perform at the festival, headlining the fifth day of the show billed for Eko Convention Centre on Wednesday, December 25.

The festival will kick off on day one with Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged on Friday, December 20th, while day two will host a throwback concert featuring legendary RnB vocal group and international award winners, BoyzIIMen on Saturday, December 21.

Day three, December 22nd tagged Alternative Night will feature Hot Girl Megan thee Stallion as well as Nigeria’s top acts such as ShowDemCamp, DRB Las Gidi, and others.

Universal Music’s Tiwa Savage takes the stage on day four on Monday, December 23rd, while Burna Boy will close the show on day five.
