Actor, Olu Jacobs commends Africa  Fashion Week Nigeria 2017

Veteran actor, Olu Jacobs has commended the organizers of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, for creating a befitting platform showcasing the work of African designers and the vast tourism potential of the nation to the rest of the world.

Jacobs took time off his busy schedule at a movie location, to be part of AFWN 2017 pre-event photo shoot at the Tinubu Square, Lagos.

  

Ronke Ademiluyi, AFWN Founder, said “We are putting everything in place towards an exceptional fashion experience.Every year, our key focus is the sustainable growth of the fashion industry.From the exhibition,collections,the runway and everyone involved,we always ensure a grand package. ”

The annual Africa Fashion Week Nigeria provides a vibrant platform for Fashion buyers, exhibitors, fashion designers, models, photographers, celebrities and fashion writers. Industry observers describe it as the biggest meeting point for those who know and love fashion and style.

Africa Fashion Week Nigeria 2017 will take place between June 3 & 4 at the National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos. According to Ademiluyi, “The venue is symbolic. It is part of our rich cultural heritage, something the style world would be glad to see”

Thespian, Eniola Badmus, has insinuated that slimming pill vendors are always lying about the success rate of their products.

The nearly obsessed lady took to her Instagram page to share a post addressing weight loss pill vendors over their adverts on different platforms.

Daring any vendor who thinks their product works, Badmus asked that she be used as a project and showcase her success rate.

Any Man Who Knee To Propose Is A Compound Buffoon-Pete Edochie

Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has never been known for his romantic side.

Stern and principled does it for him,  hence he took to slamming men who bend the knee to propose to their woman describing them as not just idiots, but compound buffoon.

In a video in which the actor   seen swaseaking in Igbo,  he condemned the act.

The actor was spotted recently and was asked to speak on wedding proposals, and again, he vehemently kicked against men going down on their knees to propose.

How Nollywood Star, Frank Dallas Died

Nollywood actor, Frank Dallas is dead. The thespian died on Wednesday, February 19, while attending a summit.

Dallas known for his star roles in movies was said to have died in his hotel room. Confirming his death via Instagram, Nollywood actor, Charles Inojie, wrote:

“Nollywood has lost a crowd in one man… FRANK DALLAS… the effervescent spirit! Rest in peace bro.”

A statement by the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Public Relations Officer (PRO), Monalisa Chinda-Coker, also confirmed the death.

According to the statement, all official activities of the guild have been cancelled for the next three days to mourn the deceased actor. The decision was reached by the President of the Guild,  Emeka Rollas who also urged state associations to open a condolence register for the deceased and say a prayer for him during meetings.
