Edo State First Lady, Lara Oshiomole
Those who recall how Clara, wife of Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole died after a serious battle with cancer would know what the former Labour man went through at the time.
This was one of the reasons why many felt happy for him when he decided to pick another wife and behold a beauty in Lara Fortez, a national of Cape Verde.
While the courtship lasted very few people knew about the relationship, however with the marriage their was nothing more to hide exposing the new Mrs. Oshiomole and indeed First Lady of Edo state to the eye of the public. However, with this exposure came more serious revelations.
Amidst talks by Oshiomole that his wife is a model in his heart, a fact which seems to make him happy, one obvious fact is that Mrs. Oshiomole seems less than happy about her union with her new husband, as pictures which have been filtering out since the marriage have either seen the new First Lady brooding, wearing a long face or totally sad.
While many might be quick to say Mrs. Oshiomole is still getting to know the terrain and as such might be found bored at events because of the responsibility she is now saddled with, a lot of people would maintain she knew what she was walking into be for saying “I Do”.
This long face of the new First Lady which seems to be appearing and reappearing in various pictures has left many wondering if all is indeed well with the new union.
