Burna Boy has revealed that he has not bought any jewelry in Africa.
The rapper revealed this in a recent interview he granted, adding that the reason he doesn’t buy jewelry in Africa is because of the popular blood diamonds.
Asked what his thoughts were on Diamonds, where he buys his and if he does any tracking, and Burna Boy answered saying: ” I know what blood Diamonds are but I don’t get them” The “Ye” singer went on to say that if he looks at a blood diamond, he would recognise it because he is from Africa.
Burna Boy went on to say that most of West Africa’s diamonds come from Sierra Leone, saying that it is because of blood diamonds that he has not bought one piece of jewelry from Africa.
