When Senator Peter Nwaoboshi Buried Dad

Senator Peter Nwaoboshi laid  Peter Nwathe remains of his late father, Chief Francis Nwaoboshi to rest on Saturday, April 30.
The traditional ceremony which was full of colour and panache had notables such as Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Senator Dino Melaye, Senator James Manager, former governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan and several others in attendance.
The event though a burial ceremony looked more like a political gathering, as the politicians present exchanged banters till the end of the
Late Nwaoboshi was the Obi of Ibusa prior to his death.
Senator Nwaoboshi his son, currently represents Delta North Senatorial Seat in the Senate.
He is described as the father of equity in Delta Politics, whose struggle gave birth to the emergence of Governor Uduaghan in 2007. The Anioma man resigned his position as Delta State Peoples Democratic Party Chairman to contest for the state’s North Senatorial Seat.
