Friends, family, and well-wishers gathered recently to pay their final respects to late Madam Olubunmi Atoke Martins, popularly known as Mama Bemil.
Mama Bemil, a renowned businesswoman whose name was synonymous with Bemil Nigeria Limited was buried at the mortuary she built in Lagos on Friday, July 14.
The deceased died on Thursday, June 8 at the age of 64.
Chain of events that led to her burial included a Christian Wake-keep, which held at Busolami Villa, Kings Avenue, Ojodu, Ikeja, Lagos.
On Friday, July 14, a funeral service held at Bemil Chapel of Epiphany, Kings Avenue, Lagos State.
Present at the event were dignitaries such as Dr. Tunji Soleye, Mr. Ayo Ighodalo, Sir. Steve Omojafor, Mr. Seni Williams, Mrs. Folashade Odubogun and her husband, Bishop Oluranti Odubogun; Chief Femi Olapade, Chief Bisade Biobaku, Dr. Tayo Akingbeyin and Mr. Alan Davies.
Regarded as a high achiever, the deceased would have been awed by the nature of guests who honoured her if only she had the privilege of seeing them.
