iflix, a Subscription Video on Demand (SVoD) service has launched in Nigeria. The iflix service was launched in Nigeria on Thursday, August 17 .

With office at Workstation Building, located at 7 Ibiyinka Olorunbe close, off Ahmadu Ojikutu Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, consumers can now enjoy unlimited access to thousands of the world’s best TV shows, movies and  other contents in Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, Ngozi Madueke-Dozie, IFLIX Nigeria Country Manager said iflix is focused on emerging markets and changing the way people consume content.

“We are focused on changing and transforming the way people consume content. We are sure that emerging market is where we are supposed to be.”

Furthermore, she said, “we like to think that there are other players in the market, but what will see us come tops is our service offering. Right now, I don’t think that there is anybody that has the amount and dept of content that we have and like they say in the industry, content is king and our content is one of our differentiating factor.”
