Following the death of his wife, Connie Madubuko, the General Overseer of Revival Assembly Ministries International, Apostle Anselm Madubuko has said he would remarry shortly.
Though a lot of people had expected that he would pick one of his church members, the man disappointed them as he chose his Kenyan friend, 33-year-old Kenyan music star, Emmy Kosgei.
However, the general conclusion by some is that the man of God is too much in a haste to remarry, since his wife died only last year.
Unperturbed, Madubuko has gone ahead to do his wedding. Thursday, August 29, was the day of the traditional aspect of the event in Kenya, while on Saturday, August 31, the church wedding will hold at Revival Miracle Cathedral in Lagos, and reception at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria. While this is the publicly display information, some people say that the pastor quietly got married on Saturday, August 3.
While Madubuko is yet to speak on his reasons for deceiving his friends by giving out a fake date, associates of the man are saying that the ceremony, which held that weekend, was not for the public but for only family members.
Apostle Madubuko met Kosgei in Kenya in 2010, at the Revival Assembly Azusa conference, when she performed at the conference.
The late Connie Madubuko who had three children with her husband died on July 6, 2012.
