Mr. 2Kay, real name Abiye David Jumbo received the beating of his life when he was attacked in his Eko Hotel room on Sunday, October 22.
The attack took place after the artiste had performed at the Buckwyld and Breathless concert, which also featured 2face, Tiwa Savage and Flavour.
Interestingly, there are those who have advised him to see the incident as a blessing in disguise.
Prior to the attack, Mr. 2Kay’s music efforts had hardly received as much attention as the attack brought to him.
Not known for his hits, some of the songs which the artiste has released include; ‘Bad Girl Special’, ‘Who No Like Better Thing’, ‘Count It All Joy’, ‘Bubugaga’, ‘Waterside Boy’, ‘Run This Town’ and a couple of others.
Except for ‘Bad Girl Special’ which received reviews perhaps due to the fact that it featured Cynthia Morgan and Seyi Shay, two of Nigeria’s leading songstresses hardly have the singer dropped a commercial hit.
With the interest that his attack has generated, music pundits are now advising him to take the attack in good light.
