Revealed: Seven Mysterious Facts About Late Prophet TB Joshua



The death of Prophet Temitope Joshua popular as TB Joshua on Saturday, June 5th came as a rude shock to the world.

The celebrated televangelist was said to have left the pulpit after a meeting with Emmanuel TV crew, but was later found dead in his room.

He was discovered by his wife Evelyn at about 3:PM after she went to check him when she noticed he had not attend to some of the issues he is known to personally tend to., presents special facts regarding the globally celebrated prophet.

His Birth:

TB Joshua was one of the men who spent more than nine months in his mother’s womb, as he was born after 15 months of pregnancy. During the celebration of his 55th birthday in 2018, he confirmed the mysterious circumstances that surrounded his birth. He was born on June 12, 1963, in Arigidi in Akoko, Ondo State.


The mystery of TB Joshua’s birth also affected his education.  The man of God attended six colleges in less than one year.

Averagely educated, the cleric did not complete his secondary school education due to the fact that his mother had no money.

From his early days in school, teachers and colleagues called him ‘small pastor’.


The celebrated televangelist was married to Evelyn Joshua and they have three children together. His eldest daughter Serah Joshua is a graduate of the London School of Economics.


TB Joshua was known for a special anointing healing water, and people from around the world visited SCOAN headquarters in the Ikotun district in Lagos seeking healing.

The special water packaged in small bottles is said to position users “for mercy, favour, healing, deliverance, blessing, prosperity and fruitfulness. It is said that if you can obtain this “healing water” your miracle is on its way even without being physically present at the church. Other healing items from TB Joshua’s church include car stickers, books,, and special oils.

Serving Nigeria:

Away from his spiritual life, TB Joshua reportedly wanted to join the Nigerian Army but did not succeed. He failed because the train he was travelling in broke down, leaving him stranded en route to the military academy.


Kindhearted Prophet Temitope Joshua strongest point, and indeed his finest hour was a philanthropist. He was known to give out cash gifts and foodstuff including other material gifts, to the poor and aged.

On Wednesday, December 30, the cleric was seen visiting a woman believed to be 142 years of age. Joshua gifted her some cash for the festive period. Specifically, he gave her N300, 000 to celebrate the new year. In the video posted on his Twitter page, the synagogue church founder urged the woman to seek God’s mercy because her journey in this world is coming to an end. He told her to settle any rift she might have had with anybody at any time in her lifetime. He urged her to send her children to settle the rift.

Financial Worth:

Late prophet Joshua was a very rich man. In fact, one of the richest pastors in the world.  In 2011, Forbes estimated TB Joshua as the third richest pastor in Nigeria with an estimated net worth of $10 million – $15 million.
