Mixed reactions have been trailing the unveiling of John Abayomi, as the brain behind the dreaded Instablog9ja.
While some people have said that Abayomi a former online Editor of Vanguard is above the degenerate level which the brand has been known for, others insist that he is likely responsible for the news blog established in 2015.
Over the years, instagram blog, Instablog9ja, has established its brand, as a no hold barred news platform breaking exclusive and daring stories. While some of the stories have turned out to be true, some have been denied by the parties involved.
So nasty is Instablog9ja that at a point, a bounty was placed on the head of the owner by a personality who felt he had been rubbished in the eye of the public.
For years, many wondered who the mystery person behind the instagram blog was, with so many names thrown around, but with none confirmed.
Transaction were held under an anonymous ground with no one identified to the platform. Its account could also not lead to the unveiling of the identity of the owner, as it was simply Instablog9ja.
Until Abayomi’s unveiling by Linda Ikeji as the owner of the blog, very few people new that the current online editor of Punch was a moonlighting.
Described as a social media strategist, creative content developer, documentary producer and SEO expert, John is a 2002 graduate of University of Agriculture and has a Master’s Degree in New Media & Society, Communication and Media Studies from University of Leicester UK in 2014. He also holds an international Broadcast Presentation certificate and Broadcast Journalism from Radio Nigeria training school, Lagos.
His experience in news editing, his degree in new media and communication and his training in broadcast journalism is what has pushed his platform instablog9ja into the success it is today.
