Indigenous rapper, Phyno, has shutdown speculations about his song, ‘I Am A Fan’.
Weeks back, Phyno, had been engulfed in controversy over the ownership of the original song.
The rapper had earlier dropped his own version of the song in 2016 only for American artist Pia Mia to release a similar song with the same title featuring Jeremiah.
The situation took a nasty twist for Phyno when the song writer Decarlo endorsed Pia Mia’s version as authentic saying he worked with her on it.
Clarifying issues on the song, Phyno shared his conversation with Decarlo where he agreed to write a song for him, hence putting the speculations concerning the song’s originality to rest.
