The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, is fast becoming a globetrotter.
Since assuming office as Ooni, the revered monarch has hardly had an extensive stay in Nigeria.
It has been one trip after the other. Typically, most of the trips have been to foreign countries.
Asides his trip to America, Ogunwusi has been to a couple of other countries since ascending the throne of his fore-fathers.
His most recent trip saw him in Ghana. During the trip, he made time out to visit the Ashantene of Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II.
While some people say that these trips are aimed at fostering relationships with the kingdoms, others say, the kingdom is probably adapting to life as a globetrotter.
