Miss Hotlegs Nigeria 2018/2019, Victoria Babatunde, will kickstart her pet project titled ‘Kick Against Malaria’ on Wednesday, May 8.
Babatunde revealed this in an exclusive interview with www.theoctopusnews.com.
According to her, she chose to start her project at Makoko community because it is a water logged area, adding that stagnant water is a good habitat for mosquitoes to thrive.

“I feel people living at Makoko community deserve good health. The project will involve handing out free mosquito nets, mosquito repellants and also engage the residents to enlighten them on how to keep there environment clean to reduce breeding of various bacteria,” she said.
On why she chose the fight against malaria as her pet project, she said: ” malaria remains one of the fastest killing bacteria taking the lives of many. I chose the project because almost everyone is into giving of food items and clothing neglecting the fact that it is only in good health that we can feed well and wear good clothes. More so, malaria is the fastest killing bacteria taking the lives of both young and old,” she said.
