The popular saying that “twins born on the same day and by the same mother have different destiny” readily comes to mind when one compares the material difference in the lives of Nigeria International and Chelsea of England midfielder Mikel Obi, and that of his younger brother Patrick Tochukwu popularly known as Edgar.
Presently, Edgar is the Chief Executive Officer of Mature Money Minds, popularly known as MMM. The record label is a new one which was setup in 2012.
Prior to his days as a musician, Edgar was a footballer. He played for Pepsi Academy and El-kanemi, in Jos Plateau State, before being invited to the Golden Eaglets Under 17 Camp.
However, he failed to make the team because of what he described as his young age.
Born and raised in Jos, Plateau State to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Obi, who hail from Neni in Aniocha Local Government, Anambra State, Edgar said he was Educated in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
As a musician, some of Edgars singles include “True Love”, a song produced by Sahara Productions, “No Dey Vex” produced by Gospel on the beat and “As E Dey Hot” produced by N.02.
