Meet Amiable Gentleman, Architect Owodunni Opayemi

Architect Owodunni Opayemi, is one gentleman who has confidence in the indigenes of Yewa South Local Government, Ogun State.
In a recent gathering at Roseview Court, a hotel located at Akute area of Ogun State, the man revealed his confidence in the people of his state when he said “I see a greater Ogun State if well managed.”
He also spoke about how the state could be governed in a way that it could conveniently rub shoulders with other advanced states including Lagos.
Opayemi, who is an America-trained Architect, went on to say that Ogun State citizens have the wealth of experience that can translate to development in all sphere of the economy.”
While the Architect is not known to be an active politician, those at the gathering were quick to applaud his speaking skills and his obvious leadership qualities.
In the past, Opayemi in a bid to improve security in his State and as part of giving back to his society had trained no fewer than 40 members of the Vigilance Service in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to him, the issue of security in the country should not be left in the hands of government alone, insisting that it must be a collective effort.
In a period when tired hands have governed Ogun State with little to show for it, there is no disputing the fact that a fresh hand with vast experience is called for.
Some parts of Ogun State which definitely needs looking into include areas such as bad roads, public and private partnership sector, the health sector and a plan that will guarantee an increased Internal Revenue Generation (IGR).
