Made in Nigeria Festival set to hit town

A never-been-seen kind of event in Nigeria is set to hit town. Tagged: “Made in Nigeria Festival”, it is a concept which seeks to unite, celebrate and empower Nigerians.

 

The week-long event will hold in Lagos between Sunday, September 28, and Sunday, October 5.

Made in Nigeria Festival is the brainchild of three intelligent youngmen, Ezekiel Adamu, Samson Adamu and Akin Osho who have excelled in their chosen fields.

 

Participants home and abroad, producing products either made in Nigeria or outside the country but relevant to the Nigerian market, will get the unique opportunity to showcase their products and experience Nigeria like never before.

 

The project, which is divided into three sects, will have an exhibition, conference and a concert all aimed at promoting Nigeria’s rich economic and cultural potential.

 

One of the major highlights of the Made in Nigeria Expo, an exhibition for manufacturers, distributors, and service providers whose products and services are being consumed by Nigerians, is that their wares would be showcased in their entire splendour. Other highpoints of the

forthcoming event are the Premium Top 100 Pavilion, an exclusive pavilion for large scale multinationals, Small Business Pavilion, a

meeting place for small business owners, Networking Lounge, an exclusive section that provides attendees from all over the world

interested in making international connection with a comfortable environment for networking, Conference Hub, a section of the exhibition that will give companies the opportunity to create their

own hub to interact with buyers and potential consumers and Taste of Nigeria, a culinary event which will bring together leaders in the food industry.

The festival will also feature an award. The Nigerian Heroes Award, which will celebrate ordinary Nigerian doing extraordinary things to

affect Nigeria and Nigerians, while Runway Nigeria, will provide a platform to showcase designs from Nigeria to a global audience.

Also as a special feature, organisers of the festival are putting together a book titled Experience Nigeria that will showcase the beauty, history, people and culture of Nigeria from a different perspective. The ultimate goal of the event is to portray the rich economic and cultural potential of the country to the whole world like never before.
