News Lockdown: Peter Obi Criticises State Governors Published 4 years ago on April 10, 2020 By The Octopus News Admin Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has criticised state governors who have relaxed the lockdown order due to Jumat and Easter celebrations. The former Vice Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who spoke during an interview on Arise TV on Friday, April 10, stated that the relaxation of the lockdown orders for religious reasons is wrong. According to him, this is because the coronavirus pandemic is getting out of hand and the country does not have enough resources to manage it. He also stated that some states which relaxed the lockdown directives do not have enough ventilators in case the crisis escalates. Obi said: “It is wrong to relax lockdown because of people going to church. Faith is a thing of the mind. You can worship without going to church. “We have a crisis that we don’t have the resources to manage. The greatest country in the world is America. They are on their knees now health wise and economically. We should not allow that because we cannot manage it. “Lock up Nigeria and we will solve our problems from within.” Post Views: 787 Related Topics:LockdownLockdown: Peter Obi Criticises State GovernorsPeter Obi Up Next Football Will Not Resume Until End Of COVID-19-FIFA Don't Miss Femi Fani-Kayode Condemns Maltreatment Of Nigerians In China You may like FG Spends N10 Trillion On Unproductive Debts-Peter Obi Why Are Bayo Onanuga, Reno Omokri, Daniel Bwala Attacking Peter Obi, Dalung Asks Youths Can’t Wait To Take Back Nigeria From Those Who Consider National Leadership “Criminal Racket”, Says Obi Vote Peter Obi In 2027 And Suffer More-Primate Ayodele Suggest Ideas For Tinubu To Run Economy, End Hardship, APC Tell Atiku, Obi 2027: Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso Have Agreed To Merge And Challenge Tinubu-Utomi Click to comment Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
