Fate has been hardly fair to Bukola Saraki in recent times.

Once the third most important man in the country; Saraki’s influence extended to his state, Kwara State; however, that was all before he was ousted by Senator Ibrahim Oloriegbe as Senator representing Kwara Central in the Senate.

Since then, it has from one challenge to the other. Asides from losing the chance of returning to the Senate, Saraki has suffered other setbacks, losing two of his houses in Ilorin, Kwara State.

A joyful breather, however, came for the Turakin of Ilorin on Friday, November 29, as he had reasons to be happy.

His daughter Oluwatosin who got married in October 2017, put to bed his first grandchild in a London hospital, cascading her father into an unexplainable joy that served as a momentarily cushion for recent negativities.

An excited Saraki shutdown all of his activities to be with his daughter and granddaughter in London.

Once the duo of Olalekan Dosumu and Oba Saheed Elegushi were the best of friends.

They painted the town red and travelled abroad together enjoying the best life had to offer.

Then, they fell out following a misunderstanding that was blamed on the monarch’s wife.

While the duo were at daggers drawn, they hardly saw eye-to-eye, as they just couldn’t tolerate each other’s presence.

But time heals all wounds, and things have since changed with the duo back as pears in a pod.

The friends are now back together with their relationship even stronger than before.

Timothy Oguntayo, erstwhile Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of defunct Skye Bank has never been a verbose man.

A few choices words at the right time has always been the hallmark of his person.

No doubt, the man’s conservativeness is second to none, as he is hardly known for giving opinions on issues.

Even during the travail that led to his exit as the man at the helms of affairs of the tier 2 bank, he simply walked away until he was dragged out of his cocoon by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), having been indicted in an N 8 billion fraud.

Since his arraignment for the alleged fraud, the man has simply gone underground in his usual fashion biding the outcome of the case.

Unlike Tunde Ayeni, the chairman of the financial institution who makes occasional appearances at parties, Oguntayo has simply maintained a very low profile.
