In an exclusive informal interview since the decline of the Ebola Epidemic in West Africa, Zuriel Oduwole sits down with her 15th President – H.E President Alpha Conde of Guinea.
He talks to her about his legacy as the President of Guinea – where the Ebola epidemic began in 2014, about Africa as the future engine growth of the world, and the broader meaning and impact on Africa of Muhammadu Buhari, becoming Nigeria’s New president.
Zuriel continues her incredible journey in her dual goal of making the case for educating Africa’s children, especially the girls by using herself as an example, and telling Africa’s story to the rest of the World, via compelling documentaries.
Her next film, on the incredible journey of 2 footballs during the FIFA World Cup last year, comes out at the end of 2015. It was shot across 5 countries – Brazil, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Mauritius and South Africa.
At just 12 years old, she is on record as the worlds youngest film maker to show their self produced, directed and edited work, in a commercial movie theater chain. Her last movie has now showed across Africa [3 countries – Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa], in Europe, and in Asia.
