A northern group has begun the search for the successor of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group identified as Progressive Movement for Democracy (PDM), recently inaugurated a steering committee to begin the search for the country’s new leader.
The group made this known on Saturday, November 28, saying the committee has been given the mandate to provide a “credible and reputable candidate” with the north interest.
Speaking during the inauguration of the committee, the group’s leader, Muhammad Auwal Musa, said the north is tired of being the epicentre of poverty and insecurity in the country.
