GLOBAL INTERNS DESIGNS “A LEADERSHIP THROUGH INTERNSHIP” WORKSHOP FOR MILLENNIALS

Global Interns, a student centered organization connecting college and high school interns to work experiences has designed an engaging and life changing millennial squad workshop. The‘ Leadership Through Internship’ workshop with well crafted sessions will create an understanding of Internship as a pathway to leadership whilst showcasing how Millenials have redefined leadership in the global workplace.This novel event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 17th, 2016 at the VGC Club, Victoria Garden City, Lekki, Lagos.
Mrs Funmi Modupe, Chief Executive Officer of Global Interns revealed that the Internship workshop will broaden the horizon of interns and eligible youths in the country towards a better academic and career disposition. In her words: “education is an on-going endeavor beyond the classroom” hence developing our youth early in becoming employable.
She emphasized that the Global Interns Company, which specializes in connecting youths to lifelong rewarding internship jobs and volunteering programs, is partnering with top employers in various sectors of the economy to make the feat achievable.
According to her, those eligible to attend the training include High School students in Grade 11 or 12; University Prep Students (A Levels); Students going abroad for college and first year undergrads. She implored parents, students, employers and other education stakeholders to collaborate in creating better internship experiences for youths in the country.
