Soundgod Music Group artist, Runtown, real name Douglas Jack Agu has won a legal battle brought against him by his erstwhile record label, Eric Many Entertainment
Recall that Eric Manny Entertainment had dragged Runtown to court in 2017 citing a breach of contract.
Subsequently, an injunction restraining the artist from performing any of his songs, working with any other artist or performing at any show was obtained by the label in March 2018.
Delivering judgement on the case at a Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday, January 23, the presiding judge, Justice O.A Musa, ordered the restraining order placed on Runtown stopping him from performing his songs to be immediately lifted.
The plaintiff was also instructed to stop interfering in affairs concerning the musician.
Runtown joined the label in 2014 after the success of his hit single, ‘Gallardo.’
