A man of wealth no doubt, Femi Otedola, didn’t cut this image over the years until recently.
Having picked the medical bills of thespian, Victor Olaotan, ex-Nigerian international, Christian Chukwu; and more recently that of broadcaster, Sadiq Daba, Otedola’s profile as a philanthropist in Nigeria continues to grow in leaps and bounds.
However, his act of philanthropy has not gone without speculations. There are talks that it is all a grand plan for a political career likely to be launched soon.
In 2018, Otedola was speculated to have accepted the Lagos State gubernatorial ticket of the People Democratic Party (PDP), it took a while before he refuted the claim.
