The ghost of years back has come back to hunt Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. Ambode; is currently suffering from a life he thought had been buried and forgotten.
Presently, there are talks of the Governor’s other life with another woman. The woman is identified as Titilayo Yombo-Ambode (Oyefeso), and she hails from Iperu-Remo, Ijebu, Ogun State.
Not many will know this, but it is a fact that Ambode is a polygamist with lovely children namely Opeoluwa and Tobiloba from Titilayo. Opeoluwa is a teenager while his sister is a Physics graduate from Lagos State. Titilayo is the 21st child of her family of 27; she is a graduate of Marketing from the Lagos University and shuttles between Canada and Lagos, Nigeria.
Prior to the election of Ambode and just when the coast seemed clear that he would win the election many had started a speculation wondering who would officially become the First Lady with the polls tilting towards Bolanle, due to the nature of relationship she shared with her husband, as opposed to the estranged Titilayo.
As it is, Ambode can not deny the existence of another family and those in Gbagada can confirm this. Titilayo met the new Lagos governor about 24years ago while he was working at Badagry Local Government Council as an accountant.
According to the estranged wife’s family members, Ambode married Titilayo in a traditional wedding 18 years ago when his first marriage to Bolanle couldn’t produce a child after three years and family pressure became too much.

The pressure was more from Ambode’s Mother Christiana Ambode who was the architect of the plan to marry Titilayo. Bolanle was cajoled with the popular saying “Ori Omo Lonpomo Waye” meaning it is more likely that Bolanle get pregnant if someone else conceive for her husband.
Bolanle has since had a set of twin two years ago allegedly conceived through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in the United States.
Last weekend, Titilayo addressed by friends as ‘Aya Governor’ meaning wife of the governor turned 40 and a classy, private birthday bash was thrown for her at Ogudu GRA, Ogudu.
The party held inside Recreation Centre’s Hall of Ogudu GRA and it was under tight. It is worth of note that Ogudu GRA was surrounded by not less than 50 armed security men comprising of Police, Mobile Police, SSS and private security personnel on the order of the new first Lagos citizen.
The biggest guest at the event governor’s mother, Mrs. Christiana Ambode, who described the birthday girl as ‘a woman more than a wife to the Ambode family’.
