The issue which turned into a legal battle with a suit instituted at a Federal High Court in Lagos recently took a turn for the positive as far as the former queen is concerned as the court declared that she was entitled to 50 percent of the net assets of her late husband.
Justice Tijjani Ringim gave the ruling in a suit by Miss Tomisin Ajayi and Mrs. Prest-Ajayi as 1st and 2nd applicants, filed through their counsel Mr. Abiodun Jellili Owonikoko, (SAN).
Prest-Ajayi lost her husband, a renowned medical doctor, businessman, and philanthropist to the cold arms of death on April 26, 2020.
