Victoria Kimani may be set to join an ever increasing list of acts that have dumped Chocolate City Music.

Having been severely criticised for not being able to drop a debut album, Victoria Kimani, eventually dropped ‘Safari’, a body of work which featured names such as Phyno, Sarkodie, Khuli Chana, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz and others late last year.

However, since its release, the album has failed to impress leading to a lot of questions about its promotion.

This might just have been what has seen Chocolate City’s First Lady signaling the end of her relationship with the label.

Victoria Kimani was signed to Chocolate City in November 2012, however after five years she seems to be set to move on having insinuated so in a social media post saying that Safari would be her last work with Chocolate City Music.

When she does leave the label, she would have joined the likes of Milli, Pryse, Ice Prince and Brymo who had earlier quit the label.
