Dumped: Olu Of Warri Removes Ayiri Emami As Ologbotsere

For every race, there is a starting point and a finish line.
One man who has reached his finish line as the Ologbotsere of Warri is billionaire businessman, Ayiri Emami.
Emami was removed by the Olu of Warri Ogiame Atuwatse III as the Ologbotsere after a long period of probation.
In August 2021 when the Olu of Warri was to be coronated, Emami was alleged to have strongly opposed his choice leading to the monarch derobing him and also barring him from the palace.
A few weeks ago, after a visit to one of the communities in his kingdom, Ogiame Atuwatse III sent for Emami to visit him following peace moves initiated by Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and others.
The King met with Emami on Friday, April 14 and subsequently called for a meeting where he openly talked about the issue. He asked Emami that going forward, he should accept his late father’s title which Ayiri refused. The monarch thanked him for all he has done for the Itsekiri kingdom and then asked him to leave his Palace.
