For a while, Dimeji Bankole has shunned social gatherings. Until he surfaced at the launch of ‘A Reed Made Flint’, a biography of the 14th Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Bankole was basically not in public eye.
Mingling at the event albeit shyly, many thought that was the coming out party of Bankole, as more of him would be seen as the days go by.
This has, however, proven to be wrong, as Bankole simply returned to his cocoon after the book launch.
Observers are now asking if Bankole intends to maintain this lifestyle, which was adopted following his failed attempt to return to the House of Representatives in 2011.
