Court Remands Yoruba Nation Agitators

At least seven Yoruba Nation agitators have been remanded by an Ibadan Magistrate court.

The agitators were remanded at Abolongo Correction Centre in Oyo State for invading a radio station.

The suspects namely Noah Atoyebi, Adeleke Gbenga, AbdulGaniyu Mustaoha, Ifagbola Elijah, Oladapo Ajala and Rasheed Jimoh invaded Amuludun Station of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, (FRCN) Moniya in Akinyele local government area on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

They were arraigned on a 4 count charge of conspiracy, treason and two count charge of armed robbery on Monday, June 19, 2023, but their plea was not taken.

Magistrate P.O. Adetuyi ordered them to be remanded at Abolongo Correction Centre and adjourned the case to 13th September 2023.
