The controversial pastor, prophet and founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry Inc., Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere (aka Odumeje) has drawn a battle line with the people of Arondizuogu in Imo State.
Chukwuemeka who hails from Orsu Ihete Ukwa, in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, South East of Nigeria is an Anambra State-based pastor/prophet who is well known by his radical wired ways of deliverance.
His deliverance scene most times appears like what happens in the World Wide Entertainment (WWE), wrestling contest.
Odumeje as he is popularly called has always been in the news over controversial issue of challenge against the native doctors. Urging them to come out for a power test of who could wake a dead body.
In what appears to be a total assault on the people of Arondizuogu, Chukwuemeka has taken to social media to insult the people of Arondizuogu.
He practically took on one of their most respected man by the people of Arondizuogu, late Paricoma Mesuo Okoye who died on February 16, 2017.
Until his death, Pericoma was a Nigerian singer, songwriter and a core traditionalist of the customs and traditions of the people of Arondizuogu.
He was also known as “Arusi Makaja 1 of Arondizuogu”, “Arusi Ndizuogu”, “Lion of Africa”, “Okala-mmuo, Okala-mmadu”, “Oje-na mmuo”, “Oke-arusi izuogu na iheme”.
In the video which has gone viral, Chukwuemeka was seen in a boutique. He started off by explaining to Christians how they should carry on with the scripture that admonishes Christians to turn the other side of their cheek to receive another slap when they are slapped on the other side of their cheek.
“ You see people of God, when somebody slaps you. You don’t retaliate, saying you are a child of Jesus. No! You cannot slap me, else you won’t like what I would do to you in retaliation.
This is a new generation, he said, ‘we shall do greater than he did’ (referring to Jesus Christ). That was what he said. What he actually meant is that you should not take nonsense that you do not want from your opponent.
During December, some people will tell you, ‘No! I have this ill-feeling about travelling to my village. You are running away from your father’s land for an idiot?
I begged Pericoma when he was alive to bring forth the charms of Ikeji. ‘You are an idiot to call you lion of Africa’, May running stomach kill you there! May all your useless children slap you there!.
Let’s tell ourselves the truth, Pericoma lion of Africa with charms…Give me a name of one wealthy and famous person from Arondizuogu” he queried.
In a retaliatory video, one of the sons of late Paricoma Mesuo Okoye challenges Odumeje.
“We are not on social media. You called our father names and said his children are useless. Odumeje this message will get to you. You said Pericoma’s children do not have power. Tell us where we will meet for a power test. Even if it’s in your church, we will come and answer you so that you can prove your power to us”.
“You looked at the whole Arondizuogu people; you did not see any wealthy person or anyone worthy of note. We give you one week from now to pick a place for this challenge, whatever drive that pursed you to Arondizuogu will definitely destroy you!’, he said.
