Ibinabo Fiberesima, President Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN)
One question which is currently begging for answer is who is to blame for the death of actor, Chris Nkulor.
While no answer has been given it is interesting to note that accusing fingers are been pointed at Ibinabo Fiberesima, the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
The argument, is that Fiberesima’s inability to effectively kick off her health insurance scheme which was supposed to carter for the health of actors and actresses if they ever need help for any medical issue is what has led to the actor’s death.
The general conclusion is that had the scheme been effective, Nkulor would have access to the six million which he needed for his operation at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Ile-Ife, Osun State.
You may recall that months back Fiberesima had told her friends and members that she had intensified her efforts in making members of the Guild to embrace the health insurance scheme she promised during her inauguration.
Fiberesima, had promised to make the poor health of members a thing of the past when she assumed office in November 2012, however, two years on several actors have passed on with most having one same complaint before their death, a lack of fund for to pay medical bills.
Ibinabo became the first elected female President of AGN in 2012, defeating Emeka Rollas.
