Up and coming Nigerian artist, Manny Monie, has been unveiled as the person behind the travails of singer, Portable.

Recall that men of tbe Ogun State Police Command had recently attempted to arrest Portable at his bar in Ota, Ogun State.
Though the artiste had taken to Instagram Live to state that he had resisted arrest after over 20 police officers without their identity cards and a arrest warrant had tried to arrest him, describing himself as a federal government liability, the spokesperson of the Ogun State Police Command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, later clarified that the arrest was necessitated after Portable did not honour four invitations to come for interrogation after a petition was written against him.

Oyeyemi also added that the attempt at arresting Portable was halted after his father promised to bring the singer to the station on or before Friday, May 31.
Explaining that he is responsible for Portable’s problems, Manny Monie, a former signee to Portable’s records label, in a viral video on social media, revealed that he wrote a petition to the police demanding Portable’s arrest.
Speaking further, he said Portable refused to respond to the petition after three months.
Portable had in November assaulted his signee, Manny Monie, for allegedly using another distributor.
Also, Portable claimed that he makes millions of naira in the studio in days, but that he was shocked after returning from a month’s trip to meet sales of only N7,000.
Manny Monie, however, said his former boss accused him of being a fraudster even after he paid him N700,000 to feature on one of his songs.
