The girls who are responsible for making a video in which Davido was alleged to have impregnated one of them are now begging for forgiveness.
This is in the wake of a 30 billion Naira suit which the singer has promised to slam on them.
In the video which went viral, the girls accused Davido of impregnating one of them. However, the singer had denied the allegation threatening to find and deal with his accusers.
Davido later Tweeted that he had found his accusers and would soon get to dealing with them.
In a swift response aimed at averting a suit and possibly trouble, the girls took to social media to release a new video in which they cleared the air about the whole video.
In the latest video, they pleaded with the singer, adding that it was all a joke aimed at getting his attention in a bid to congratulate him for the arrival of his son, David Jnr.
A transcript of the new audio released sees the duo explaining the reason for the video and begging thus:
“We posted a video about three days back, and the thing went viral even more than the way we think. The video has really gone far, and different bloggers have posted the video. But the thing is we were only trying to congratulate him in a unique way, just to catch his attention, just for him to notice us. That was all it was all about; we didn’t do it to bring his image down, God forbid. W don’t want our image to be ruined, how can we ruin another person’s image, not to now talk of a whole Davido. What do we have, what do we stand to gain in ruining his image, someone that already has the image already. He can strangle us with just a finger.”
